Berg Recall Desk is operated by Berg App LLC. This disclosure describes this separate invited beta; the existing Berg App household policy remains unchanged. This product-specific disclosure governs this beta.

What we store

A random account identifier, cryptographic hashes of account and connector keys, token dates, product labels, brands, optional models, CPSC candidate notices, your review status and notes, and dates. We record daily action counters for up to 90 days to understand use and reliability. We do not request an email address, address, VIN, serial number, photos, receipts, payment details or child profiles.

How it is used and shared

We use these records to maintain your watchlist, check the official source, show history and protect service access. Cloudflare hosts the service, database, request handling and Turnstile verification. CPSC receives brand searches from our server, not your account id or private notes. If you connect Muse, responses to authorized tool calls are shared with Muse and are governed by Meta’s terms and privacy practices. Support email is processed by Berg’s existing email systems.

Technical records

Application logs contain operation class, status, duration and normalized source failures, not your keys or product text. The hosting provider may process network metadata. We use short-lived hashed-IP counters for signup and abuse limits. We do not use advertising pixels, sell your information or use it for cross-context advertising. Browser keys stay only in memory while the page is open; this app does not persist them in browser storage.

Your controls and retention

Use the recovery key in Your desk to export your product records, reviews and activity; revoke connector tokens; or permanently delete the live account and private records. Shared public CPSC cache entries are not personal account records and are cleaned up when no watch references them. Rate-limit rows expire and are removed on the next scheduler run. Provider recovery snapshots on the current free D1 plan can retain deleted data for up to 7 days; any restoration must reconcile deletions. We retain account records until you delete them or we close the service with notice. Support correspondence is normally retained for 12 months after resolution, subject to necessary legal/security holds.

Adults and account keys

This service is for adults managing their own household products. Do not enter information about a child. Save your recovery key securely: without it, the service cannot automatically establish account ownership. Contact us if you need assistance with a privacy request; we will seek proportionate verification without asking you to send keys by email.
